Much better than the cortland or Danbury stores
The people are very friendly and helpful
have always loved this home depot, but today went to rent a tool in the rental department. I found an employee who had no care in the world for the customers , he was clearly in no rush even though I waited 45 min for 2 people ahead to be served and when it was my turn and asked questions ,not only was he not at all helping but belittled me for my lack of knowledge. I felt poorly treated and embarrassed to ask any other questions pertaining to my rental. will not go back

On my top 10 list - lots of things to sniff - check out the pallets in the garden center - all kinds of critters under them - friendly humans - nearby pet store for treats - always something to eat outside - scored a chicken bone yesterday 😀
Visited the store to buy supplies for a craft project that required materials throughout the store. All the salespeople I encountered were helpful and knowledgeable. I want to especially mention Michael in the lumber department who happily cut wood to various measurements I needed for my project. He was pleasant and helpful, and refused to accept a tip when offered, just smiled and said "Enjoy the rest of your Sunday." Thank you, Michael! Overall a very positive experience!
I went to home depot looking for a charger for an battery operated portable generator. The information desk directed me to Jason. He was so helpful he went beyond what I expected.
Second time getting appliances from Home Depot and both times items came damaged . So now I have to take a second day off of work to hope that they can not have damaged appliances.... avoid appliance purchases from them..!!
