My husband and I are both veterans and our local Home Depot in Camas, WA ALWAYS gives us our discount with no problems. Perhaps the manager here should consult with the Camas location to learn how to treat Veterans and run a successful store. VERY poor judgement and VERY disrespectful especially when it is clear that Home Depot does offer this discount at other locations.
Well first off any store that denies a veteran a discount after serving our country is pathetic.. I will never shop at any of your stores again. Oh to the young manager that did this.. We are gathering the local contractors togther to see about blacklisting your stores

I also read the story about the vet you guys shamefully denied a military discount. I just bought my first home and I absolutely will not be using Home Depot for my home projects. Hopefully, the 300 friends I shared that story with all share it, too. What an egregious move, Home Depot. You suck.

How dare you not give veterans their deserved discount. I choose to give my support to companies who support our military personnel in turn. This is an example of one store and its incompetent manager however home depot as a company should never have policies that allow management to choose who qualifies for a veterans discount. If you've served this country you are a veteran and therefore qualify for the VETERANS discount.
