Mangers would not give vetren discount and argued with him
I have always gone to the Home Depot on Sprague , however after reading the Facebook post from David Carleton about the lack of customer service provided by their manager I think I will have to go else where. Too bad, poor training.
No veteran discount anymore? Fine no more veteran business, I'm sure Lowe's will appreciate it.
Last time I was in Lowe's the teller spotted a patch on my vest that led her to believe I was a Veteran. She asked if I was and when I said yes gave me a discount. I didn't even have to ask for it. In the past I shopped at whichever (Lowe's or HD) was convenient. Now short of an apology directly from this misfit manager and an answer from corporate on the policy then I'll just go to Lowe's. Poor Job Home Depot !!! Great Job Lowe's !!!
I have spent hundreds of dollars at this particular home depot especially in just the last few weeks. Since I read that they refuse to honor a veterans discount I will no longer spend a single penny at this store or any home depot for that matter!! Shame on the company and shame in the manager. Those veterans are hero's!!!
I always shop at Home Depot even tho it's a lot farther away from my house but after the way the veteran was treated I will never shop here again. How disheartening for someone who stood for your freedom and rights to be treated this way.

I will not shop here or at any other home depot again. I never liked them previously due to poor selection, poor quality, and poor customer service. To hear how they treat veterans, the people who served to protect our country. It is disgraceful. They may not be active duty, but what they have done for our country is no less valuable.
