I have had good service and success at the 2 that I use, friendly and they know what they are doing, I have never had good service at the few lowe's that I have gone too. But you can have good and bad at any store, depending on your situation. Coming from up north, you just can't beat Menards. :)
I remodel my kitchen and from the start I had problems. I ordered my cabinets they came more than half were damaged and had to be sent back. Which meant I had no kitchen for almost three weeks longer. The customer service there is horrible expecially at the customer service desk. I've even tried to make a pre-order that didn't work out. At this point next project I do I will drive the extra couple minutes to go to Lowes. I even called corporate nothing was resolved. All that was looking for was a sincere apology. With the Greenlight a Vet campaign...Home Depot is supposed to sponsor this project by supplying the bulbs.....we drove 50 miles to pick some up and not one clerk knew about this. There was no display to sell these lights. We had to buy a "party" light so we could display our support to all Vets. My husband is a Viet Nam Vet and will be lighting our bulb in support of all the Veterans that have fought for our country and freedoms....SHAME ON HOME DEPOT for not having the same support!!!! Will Be shopping at Lowes instead!!!
They are always helpful. The classes are fantastic and the staff is very knowledgeable. We are repeat customers.
