We went in around 5pm to look at cabinets, counters and flooring. We are remodeling our kitchen. We have a complete layout drawn up including all the cabinet sizes we need and we know what color we want. Should have been an easy sell for the company. No one asked us if we needed help. After standing there for awhile, we finally asked 2 employees who had been just standing there if they could help us. Don't have home depot install your carpet! They unroll it OUTSIDE (after it rains) before they bring it into your house (with mud, grass, dirt, and probably bugs). I have pictures if you're questioning my honesty.

I don’t think I have ever had an experience like I did today at the Barboursville Home Depot. This morning I went to Home Depot to buy some pressure treated 2x4’s to finish my front porch railings. The bin that held the 2x4’s (about 30) were in bad shape- bowed, warped and some had chucks of wood missing. I asked an employee if he could lower the upper stack to the floor so I could get the 2x4’s I want. He told me NO, he said it was the same lumber. I said I can’t build anything with this wood. Horrible company! My disabled family member who no longer has the use of their legs purchased a riding lawnmower from this store. They were supposed to deliver it to their home. Instead they sold the machine a 2nd time to another person and said they were ordering a replacement to be delivered. Horrible customer service! You should not take advantage of any persons especially a disabled person.

My grandmother, who has been without a fridge for several days and has been living out of an igloo cooler for all of her food and insulin, bought the "last model" of a fridge in store, which was supposed to be delivered today. when it didn't show up, she called and was told that the "last model" was sold to someone else, and that she would be without one until mid July. She isn't able to do any heavy lifting (bagged ice) due to a recent diagnosis. Wont ever be shopping here again. Go literally anywhere else to spend hundreds... read more

I received an email saying that my credit limit with Home Depot would be reduced because I haven't used the account in a while. That is the dumbest policy yet! Home Depot seems to be less and less customer service oriented. If this is a method to encourage account holders to purchase more, that's a rediculous strategy. First of all customers have to run down or find associates in the store and now this message about reducing a credit limit because an account isn't used enough for the STORE'S convenience! Received a call that my electric fireplace was assembled and ready for pick up. I go to pick it up and they can't find it! Then they say I can have the one on display. It's scratched up and looks bad!!!! Poor service!
