I’ve shopped here several times in the past prior to this pandemic and had no issues. I called the store at the beginning of Feb ‘21 about picking up a kids workshop kit. I was told they’re not there yet and to call back in a few days. I explained I would need four, one of my daughter and three for my neighbors’s children. The rep said that would be fine. The Home Depot in Ranson is not enforcing the state mask mandate or their own mask policy for either customers or employees.
So... the state of W.V. has mandated the wear of masks at locations such as Home Depot. I go there yesterday and find 7 people at the front area waiting for service desk to help. 6 of those 7 had no mask. Not good...but then two employees walk in front of me...no masks. And they were on duty. I saw them in their areas without their masks. WTH?
Disrespectful Staff and no knoweledge of almost any products. Go to Lowe's instead.
I just purchased three kitchen appliances, only to find that one of them wasn’t functioning properly. When we came to the Ranson store for help, we were told it wasn’t their problem. Seriously? I’m appalled by the complete lack of service. Don’t waste your money on appliances here; they don’t stand behind what they sell!
We ordered curbside pickup from this location. First, we ordered Tuesday to be filled same day and the order wasn't filled until Thursday. Second, my husband went to pick up our order as curbside. There was a non social distanced line half way through the parking lot and he sat on the phone for 15 mins with the "curbside pickup" number and no answer. He had to leave so I could work. This is our local hardware/ garden store. Getting materials from the garden department is a nightmare. First delivery was fine. Second was half of what was ordered, and driver refused to put it where the first delivery had been placed. Called, was told the rest would be delivered the next evening. No show. many phone calls, two more promised delivery dates, no show. Current deliver date is 1 month after the original incomplete delivery. What a mess. Don't trust any promises from these people.
