Yet again tried to go in to get something we needed and was reminded why we never shop here. We asked for help with 24 bags of concrete at the pro counter. Someone came out finally after 5 to 10 min. Said it would be awhile he had to find someone to help him cause " there are 5 managers and only 1 employee working". Decided wasn't worth the wait since he didn't seem to want to help anyhow and we left. And as usual went to Lowe's where the employees are actually helpful. I needed some lumber cut for a project. Waited 40 minutes, no one to help. Asked someone to help me. Not their job. I asked who's job it was then? They pointed to the fat, bald guy with the hoop stripe shirt standing on a order picker. He's at the front of the store chatting with the ladies. Walk up to the front of the store and ask him if he would help me. He gives me a sarcastic answer about my request. We were there yesterday for the children's program, very well organized, employees were very helpful, only complaint , would be nice to have more room
I placed an online order for a grill, after putting it halfway together I realized there were 2 damaged pieces. I called customer service to get this issue taken care. I talked to Mark, who was able to call this store to see if they could help get me a new grill. The Manager Paul arranged to an already put together grill delivered to my house and they took the damaged one back. This is an example of a great customer service! I appreciate all the efforts it took to get me what I needed and make this a stress free experience.
Purchased a Anderson 3000 storm door, very nice. The special order came in sooner than expected also.
I have finally decided to stop even trying at this store and just drive the extra 5 minutes to Lowe's. This store never had anyone available to help in many departments and when you do get someone they are little to no help. I find that Home Depot is the Wal-Mart to the home improvement world. Don't shop here if you do not want a headache.
They have great programs for kids, besides the fact that they have everything I need for home maintenance.
Customer service stinks!!!! Anytime you have to call a store you are In to get help and still no one comes. This is my last trip I would rather drive ten more minutes down the street to lowes!
One of the best Home Depot stores. I feel like a kid in a Candy store :)
