Here, as long as they are willing, the family is just as involved as the patient in the treatment. We are finding that to be so key in my sister’s journey. We are discovering what to do, what not to do, what we may have done in the past to send her spiraling and also how to deal with our own feelings relative to her addiction.
Once I realized that trying to hold down my job and maintain every other aspect of my daily life while trying to regain sobriety just wasn’t going to work I came to the hills treatment center. Here I found the ability to unplug and completely focus on what I needed to, me and my recovery. Does the “me and my” part sound selfish? It shouldn’t because once I took care of that, I could then return to taking care of my family and my life.
I highly recommend the doctors and the staff here at Hill’s Treatment Center. They have shown me that life is not as bad as I thought it was. In fact, during my first night there I came to appreciate how well the counselors were in making me feel at ease.
I wouldn't be doing well today if it weren't for Hill’s Treatment Center. I was furloughed during the pandemic and started drinking heavily. Then they called me back to work but I couldn’t go because I was an alcoholic now. I’m looking for a new job now thanks to those people.
Hills Treatment Center is just a powerful facility to seek treatment at if you are at that point where you actually want help. I was at that point during the height of this global pandemic and the people there have quite literally saved my way of living.
Addiction treatment is one of the hardest things that you will ever make the decision to voluntarily do. Once you do make that decision you could not be in better hands than at The Hills. They will take very good care of you.
Presidential treatment was what I needed in order to get out of the toxic environment I was in and to get some real help. They give you so much support and help you learn the tools that you need to live a sober life. At some point, it has to be up to you and they help make that possible.
I am extremely appreciative of the fact that they have specific programs only for women. We mentally work differently than men and need to be treated and helped differently than men. I am very impressed with the quality of the staff and know that I am in a great place with their help.
Against my better judgment, I attended a Happy Hour Function my job was having and of course even though I was drinking just club soda, the bartender accidently added gin to one of my servings. I was off the wagon very fast so now I am trying to get back on it here at Hills Treatment Center.
