Amazing brown sugar pork salad and sandwich. Large portions, friendly staff.
The food is outstanding. However, the service is hit and miss. 1/3 of the time we’ve been, the waitress forgot about us. Tonight we waited 20 minutes and the server never stopped by. We finally left. It’s sad because the place has potential, but this is enough of a reoccurring problem that I probably won’t be back and encourage you to avoid it as well.
first time here. Amazing food, very reasonable prices and excellent customer service. this might be my new favorite place to eat!

The BBQ was great. Had a sample of each item. Service was great
Unfortunately the Hickory has really gone downhill. It used to be our favorite place but the last time we went the food was terrible (like gross thawed out fruit instead of fresh, and grossly overcooked meat) They didn’t do much to “make it right” and we ended up paying full price for a terrible meal 🙁
First time there. Portions were big and choices were many. Good flavors and all. The only slightly negative is that the meat was a little dry on mine and a different sandwich for the wife. Thus 4 stars out of 5. Will be back.
