Amazing shrimp. The crab bisque was awesome. Fast & fun service, cool atmosphere, reasonable prices... Perfect lunch on St Simons.

I have never read so many five star reviews.. I so we had to try it last night. Wonderful! Very crowded but were seated swiftly. The best...freshest...sweetest raw oysters I have ever tasted....bacon green beans were definitely superb!

We had supper there tonight. It was delicious!! Great service and food. I highly recommend the crab stew and crab cakes.
I've never been disappointed at the Half Shell! I've never left wishing that I'd gone someplace else. If you get an opportunity to talk to the owner/chef about the daily special, you'll quickly understand that he truly loves what he is doing. He talks about his creations like a grandmother talks about her grandkids! Love it!
We had a crab BLT and a fish sandwich. Sweet chili slaw a good surprise with mine, onion rings with his, shrimp ceviche appetizer was delish, crab BLT great. Jerry said his sandwich was excellant. We'll be back.
Everything we had to eat was wonderful! Very impressed by the food and the staff were attentive and considerate. Great experience that we hope to repeat again one day.
