My husband and I have a second home on SSI, so we visit the island quite often. We try to make it to The Half Shell every time we visit. The food is always outstanding, and the servers are very attentive. The cheese grits are the best I have ever had, and the gooey butter cake is wonderful! The seafood is always fresh and prepared to perfection. You can't go wrong when you make The Half Shell your dinner destination!
The very best Happy Hour around !!! Will be there January 2017 can't wait!!
I love this place. I have eaten there many times and thought they had the worlds best onion rings. I was sorely disappointed when I found they had changed the onion rings. Why change a signature dish? It doesn't make sense.
Simply delicious. Bacon wrapped green beans! My entire family loved the food, atmosphere and service.
Definately our fave place for oysters!! The cumberland oysters were great this weekend. Thank u so much for realizing it was my daughter's bday and offering her your yummy butter cake!! We visit u every time we are on SSI!
