Some of the best seafood I've ever eaten. Fast service, great atmosphere, well worth a visit when in Saint Simons.
Excellent! The Sheepshead special was the best fish preparation that I have had on the island so far and the crab cake appetizer was great also. My wife had the crab bisque and shrimp and grits and commented that both were some of the best that she has eaten. Overall, a great place to dine and I plan to return.
Fantastic lunch! Impeccable service. The crab cake sandwich was perfect - the cake fell apart because there was more crab than bread. The tomato on the sandwich was perfectly red and ripe would have been delicious on its own. The onion rings were to die for too, sweet onions in perfect batter and cooked at the perfect temperature so they weren't greasy. The kids menu fried shrimp and fries were awesome. The prices are reasonable too - it was a perfect lunch.

We are officially obsessed with The Half Shell! We tried it last October and swore we would be back. A dreary weekend for Easter was not on our agenda but eating at The Half Shell Saturday night made up for the cruddy weather. You never disappoint!
