It was excellent! I had the stuffed poblano pepper. So good and spicy, which I like. The apple vinaigrette dressing was excellent as well. The drinks and wine are all great. My husband and I had a wonderful Valentine's dinner!

We had great service. The food was so good. We loved the atmosphere and a great place to dine. We will be back.
We love the Gruene Door for weekend brunch so we decided to try it for dinner. The service was excellent as always! The Shrimp & Grits, wine, and all of the sides were wonderful! What was seriously sub-par (and the reason for losing two stars) was the ribeye. It was cooked perfectly, but still tough as boot leather. Very disappointing when the price point is above $30. I don’t mind paying for great food and service, but with this experience probably will not be back.

Called and checked your hours then walked over in the cold for Sunday brunch. No sign. No mention of being closed on your message. Just closed. Poor way to run a business.
Highly recommend! Fresh, quality ingredients, great selections, friendly staff! My hunny had the shrimp & grits and I had the pork cutlets with polenta! Amazing!!! Bruschetta was fabulous too!
It was a nice time. Everyone there was very nice and the food was pretty good. I would definitely go back.
