What a terrible customer service experience! We drove all day to meet up with friends for a birthday dinner just to NOT have our reservation honored. We had made reservations online that we modified with the manager at 2pm for a 7pm check-in, from 4ppl - 5ppl. He accepted the modification. RecommendedCrab cake and fried spinach appetizer. Shrimp and grits Chicken Picatta
Went for dinner before going to Gruene hall. Service was good, food wasn’t bad, there were things I would have changed about my meal as the sauce on the shrimp and grits really took away from the grits. Would go back
Menu looks better than what shows up, but I liked what I ordered? Just in a different way than the menu might imply? It’s a nice place, but it is still a few tweaks before the check equals the meal. It’s an HR problem I suspect. Someone has a vision but the actualization of the concept is still a season or two away.
My sister and our two six year old kiddos came by yesterday for a late lunch. We thought we had a huge issues because there wasn’t a kids menu. Then our waiter came to the rescue and produced French fries and chicken tenders. I was so happy, and most parents totally understand. I wish I could remember his name because he was our official hero of the day!!! We will be back soon!!!!
It was quaint and lovely. Wish the menu had a bit more of a selection.
The shrimp n grits are ahhhmazing���� Our waiter was Fab. As well�
My first visit here was for brunch on a Sunday. I ordered the Crab Benedict and a sangria. Sangria was amazing, as was the crab cake. However, please learn how to poach an egg. First one was almost completely boiled... sent it back and the second one wasnt much better. Great atmosphere, and I may be back. However won't repeat the crab benedict
