DO NOT MOVE HERE! I moved here because it was one of the few places with 5 month leases at a reasonable price, but wow I should have gone elsewhere. I am not one to complain but there is just so much wrong with this place. For starters, I was told by a staff member that I could move in on a Sunday at 10am. I was so excited for move in day but when I walked into the apartment it looked like someone had just moved out. It was was so dirty, the furniture is all stained and torn up! The carpets in the room were so sticky my socks kept getting stuck to the floor. I wish I had looked some more before choosing these apartments. 😢😢
I wrote a review 2 weeks ago for the Grove saying “Hey Grove! Can you spell SUED?” Someone replied with “We’re sorry you are not pleased. Please give us the opportunity to make this right. Our Community Manager Demi will be reaching out to you shortly in hopes to set up a meeting so we can help you with this situation.” In May of this year I went to look at an apartment at the Grove. RecommendedThe grove is a great place to live! Love the staff and the amenities. They have a ton of community events to really get to know their residents and for residents to get to know each other. Live here!
Had such an awesome experience here! You have to realize that you’re living in a college environment so my issues were more with people who don’t know how to clean up after themselves (or their dogs) but otherwise, I had no problems with management! Demi always took good care of my roommates and I and dealt with any issues we had immediately which made such a difference!
The Grove is the best student housing community in Lubbock!
This place will take all your money for fees and damage that dont exist. Maintenance and staff are liers and management believes the liers especially maintenance and the tenant gets charged more. MY ADVICE IS GET OUT AND REPORT TO BBB AND FILE A CLASS ACTION SUIT. Demi is just as bad as bailey was. GET OUT IMMEDIATELY. Worst place ever and con artists. STAY AWAY
Demi is a great manager! She’s always attentive to any issues we have and always willing to help. She plans great incentives for the residents and makes it a little more enjoyable! She’s the reason why I would recommend others to live there. There is one issue that should be fixed and that is utility bills. I lived at other student housing with more roommates with a cap of only $5 more than what the grove offers and i would NEVER pay more than $8 a month extra in overages.
