The Georgian Hotel's one-time speakeasy, where guests now eat breakfast, was allegedly started by mobster Bugsy Siegel. Happy hour martinis and a small plate of anything on the porch is a delight.
Hotel was in a good spot however on arrival when our group had young kids staff were extremely unfriendly and even after going out when walking back into the hotel we were asked what we were doing there. Rooms were large but having a booking for family we had to make the foldout lounge as this was not made up. In the afternoon we sat down on the verandah for an afternoon drink and staff were extremely rude and we felt that they did not wish to serve us.
