The Georgian Hotel's one-time speakeasy, where guests now eat breakfast, was allegedly started by mobster Bugsy Siegel. We had an excellent stay at this hotel we just arrived home last week. Couldn't fault this hotel our room was big and immaculately clean mini bar was always topped up daily it was cleaned daily beds were changed a few times during our weeks stay. we asked if we could have a fridge in our room and we had it within minutes free of charge! Beds are amazing too sooooo comfy ! Staff very friendly and can't do enough for you. Location was great couldn't of asked for a better view ! We arrived at noon (3 hours before check in) and the staff couldn't have been more accomodating. Our room was ready and they checked us in early. The view from our room is amazing. Location to the beach, Santa Monica pier, and the Promenade on 3rd Street containing great stores and food is a huge plus. The room is what you'd see in a 5 star hotel with the hotel's shell resembling The Great Gatsby era. Love everything about this place. Friendly staff, very polite and helpful. Only niggle was the lift motor noise after midnight, but we would definitely recommend the hotel.
Great location right in the shopping district of Santa Monica and just across the road from the Santa Monica Pier with the carnival on it. great for a quick stop over in LA. Enjoyed the restaurant too.
