The Georgian Hotel's one-time speakeasy, where guests now eat breakfast, was allegedly started by mobster Bugsy Siegel. My wife and I have been coming to The Georgian, for her birthday "trip" (we live just 20 miles away), for the past three years. We loved it so much 2 years ago, we returned for her birthday last year... and we just got home today. As always, it was a great stay. We love this hotel and its vintage vibe. The staff are courteous and they make you truly feel you're treated with respect. When I go back to Santa Monica this is the place I'm going to stay in. Also, the BEST Eggs Benedict in town.

Perfect location. Old Georgian charm. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds and pillows. A stone's throw from the pier and hop on-hop off bus stops. Lovely bathroom with more than enough towels, robes, soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Nice selection from mini bar. We made use of room service and ordered the burgers. Wow! I stay in CA so i just went for lunch yesterday, everything was perfect our drinks food and servant, problem was they had to close the breakfast, they brought the food and right after our bill, kinda rude if you ask me, rushing us to pay!
