The place looks beautiful post renovations, office staff are all friendly and approachable and the location is quiet. I want to recommend this place but maintenance requests just don’t get done in a timely manner. Our chimney has leaked since move in and we’ve been putting in maintenance requests for at least a month to get it fixed. After the first request was completed we assumed it was fixed, left for a week, and came home to some of our furniture, including an antique wooden chest, sitting in a puddle of water. I have lived here for many years, but I'm getting ready to leave and move out of state... but I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Crystal and Mark for their kindness this past year. Even though I'm leaving, they have gone the extra mile to be kind and flexible as I get ready to leave. All the Staff at the Garret are great and even with all the changes going on (almost done) they have reached out to the community for fun events and strive to be a great team! Thank you so much to all of you!!!
My husband and I love living at the Garratt! Management and staff are the absolute best there is! The new clubhouse and pool are amazing and Cortland properties spared no expense in making this one of the most high end living communities around! Wonderful amenities, beautiful location, and a real sense of community here. You really need to come see this place and take a tour. You really won't be disappointed!
They don’t fix what needs to be fixed. My front sidewalk has been flooding and I can’t get into my front door since I moved in. They told me they were contracting someone to fix it. That was in May, it is almost September!! They said the swimming pool and clubhouse would be available in July, it is almost September and still not open. Repairs take weeks sometimes months. We pay a lot to live here but we do not get what we pay for.
