I have used the federal savings bank for a mortgage and to refinance. Both times the process was very easy and painless. James and his team did a great job at navigating through all the paperwork and left me without worry. The customer service was some of the best I have ever had. I would definitely recommend the federal savings bank to my family and friends.

Daniel ****** and his boss Neal ***** were by far the worst people we have ever had to deal with. The 30 day closing on our home took 120 days. Yes you read that right. 4 months. Danny and his coworkers managed to push this back week after week. They were rude and unprofessional during the process. I would never recommend this mortgage company

To whom it may concern: On April 3rd 2020 I was contacted by Coner ****** of The Federal Savings Bank | 900 Wilshire Drive Suite 351, Troy, MI 48084 about refinancing our home. It was determined that we would not qualify for a conventional loan but may qualify for a VA loan. He then asked for 725 dollars to cover the appraisal and I gave him a credit card. This bank is worse than TERRIBLE when it comes to customer service. A one star rating gives too much credit to this bank. The loan officer that was assigned to deal with my case file in refinancing a VA loan name is Yousof. This person was trying to rip me off by saying he was giving me $5000 back in lender credit when all he was doing was offsetting the cost of the loan. Cannot stop this company from contacting me. They send a letter that looks almost exactly like it's from my current mortgage company EVERY SINGLE WEEK. This is just a way to trick people into calling in. Everytime I move there is another company that pulls this phishing scam by mail or god forbid you give them more info by email or phone. I am permenantly on the do not mail list and no matter what I do these people will not stop contacting me about "available funds".
