All around great hotel – Outstanding views. Service was outstanding. The new Hyatt is just beautiful. We love both of the bars and Altitude restaurant.

Woedully Disappointing and Highly Overrated – I took my family of 6 there for a combo special occasion: an early Mother's Day and my stepson's departure for 3 years to Okinawa with the Marines. I thought I'd try the Driskill given the nice reviews and momentum that is seemed to enjoy, bypassing our standards rotation of The Four Seasons, Bistro 88, Castle Hill, and Vespaio. What a major disappointment! THe service was the equivalent of Applebee's on a bad night. The food was inconsistent. Admittedly, some of the dishes were ... read more

Horrible Service – Called for special anniversery weekend. Paid extra for an ungraded room. Arrived, only had 2 doubles available (On an Anni?) Anyways, even more nightmare they charged my card twice. Left messages for the GM, and wrote corporate, no real response. Will not stay again

I have eaten at other Hyatt restaurants around the world and by far Altitude is the worse restaraunt I have eaten in general. My husband had some scallops that were rubbery and I had some pasta dish not worth remembering that cost over $20! It's pasta! The service was confusing, no one could figure out who was our server! In addition, the wine list was poor, they didn't have very many sparkling wine selections and it was heavily California based. It was just a sad experience all together. The only saving grace was our Host, ... read more

Upscale cocktails, appetizers and desserts abound in this hotel bar high above downtown Denver. – In Short In this bar at the top of the Hyatt tower, the best tables gaze down on the lights of Denver and the miniature cars and people below. Any spot will do in the long bar-filled with plush lounging chairs and tall tables. Sip on the exquisite 27th floor martini, blending cognac, Godiva chocolate liqueur, Baileys, Nocello Walnut and espresso. For something sweet, try the champagne and cheesecake or for something savory, the ... read more

beautiful – My family and I always recommend to our out of town guests who like to stay in downtown for a full experience - they just have to atleast stay at the Driskill for 1 night. Experience the history of it, the food, staff & atmosphere. Always an experience for anyone from out of town.

Simply Magnificent!!! – Staying at the Driskill is a must if you are staying in Austin. We have travelled all over the US and The Driskill ranks among the most memorable hotels we have ever stayed at and the rates are very reasonable considering the quality of the stay. You won't regret it or...forget it!!

Central, well-regarded, opulent--the blue-topped Hyatt is worth the expense. – The Scene While the building itself is rather plain, the futuristic, electric-blue UFO which tops the Hyatt Regency Hotel is unmistakable. This massive blue dome, which looks something like the western hemisphere floating 500 feet in the air, is one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. The rooms are expensive, ranging from $145 to $708, but you're not worried about greenbacks if you choose to stay at this location. The Details The blue dome ... read more
