Very nice and extremely convenient to downtown Chapel Hill – Very nice hotel, great staff and very clean. We have stayed here twice and we will be back soon! The parking is a bit tricky but once you're there you don't need your car until you check out so it's not that much of a problem.

The friendliess hotel I've ever been in – I stay in a lot of hotels around the world and this is by far the friendliess staff around. As they pass they acknowlege you, if you need anything they let you know they are available, no matter what floor you are on. I've never had so many conversations in my life. It seems as if the employees enjoy working here. I haven't had any problems, it was easy check-in, easy check-out. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Disappointing stay – I just returned home from for my disappointing 30th birthday stay at the Driskill. First, our room was tiny - the bed comprised nearly the entire room - and the air conditioning obnoxiously loud. Second, the lighting in the bathroom was awful - I had to apply make-up by the window - and there was no soap in the shower. Next, my boyfriend had a detailed conversation with the lead concierge three times about where he should take me for a formal dinner.
