Unprofessional Apartments Very unprofessional and doesn't care about the needs of the students.
The District on Kernan I HATE my apartment. It is dirty, nasty, and too small!! for one they placed me in the wrong apartment and over charges me on my utilities almost every month. They did a personality test to link me with my roommate and we are NOTHING alike. I'm so miserable living here and my air conditioning has gone out 3 times in a month. It gets up to 90 degrees and maintenance doesn't do anything until you ask, ask, and ask the front desk. The rent is too much for as much as they put me through. I wouldn't recomme... read more
Newly renovated So far i've had a few problems with the office staff. It's run mainly by students which is good and bad. Whenever I have a question they answer to the best of their knowledge but sometimes I feel they don't fully know a lot of answers. Beside that the actual apartments are nice. Security guards can be a bit extreme at times and in my opinion are unnecessary. Very nice pool great for laps or just hanging out in. the district on kernan The staff people are all very friendly. The rooms are nice. I don't like the carpet, but you can't have everything. I was pleased with most of the utilities being included. There is a cap though, so be careful. I love the free internet and cable, the pools, the 24-hour gym, and the tanning bed. It is great to be able to grill by the pool with your friends. It can get a little crouded though. All in all, it is very much worth the rent.
Voluntary Prison Over the course of a year, I have been treated less like a human than I would have elsewhere. In my opinion, they take advantage of the fact that most of these kids have never rented before and are completely awful to their residents. There have been shootings, robberies, and more just within the past year. Cockroaches are a normal thing and so is endless dog poo all over the property. Don't live here.
