They act like they care, but they don't. Don't be fooled by the "events" they have at the front office - it's all for show; the only thing they care about is getting your money. If something comes down to inconveniencing themselves or inconveniencing you, they will put the inconvenience on you, the resident, with no care to the impact it has on your own life. WORST PLACE EVER! They showed us a model instead of what we were moving into, pest control is horrible and there is mold growing. Currently trying to get of that lease!
Awful Experience I hope that no one ever has to go through hell like I did and still am with this sorry excuse for a “business”. When everyone’s bedroom door locks were changed and I got home from work after the office closed, I had to wait to be let in for over 3 HOURS because the maintenance staff “couldn’t find” my key and I had to wait until after 9pm for someone with the master key to open my door. Don’t move in here, even if desperate! My issues started in the beginning before I even moved in. They didn’t tell us that the apartment was rented out by room until I went to move in. My old roommate and I were under the impression that the cost would be split. So all the money I saved went into items that would go into the apartment. Extremely pleased! We received what we paid for! It is scary signing a one-year lease without ever seeing the apartment, but The District of Kernan turned out to be even better than their photos and better than we could have ever hoped. HORRIBLE. NO OTHER WORDS. They are the most money hungry apartment complex there is! They try everything in their power to get anything they can out of you!! The office staff hung up on me many times throughout my lease for no absolute reason there was no conflict nothing. Trust me when I say the moment after you sign that lease they could care less. WORST PLACE TO LIVE-Seriously. Obviously the review that states, "Don't listen to these reviews" must be one out of the hundreds of people living here who have complained. And good for them with their experience living at District on Kernan but thats NOT reality. These apartments procrastinates and constantly gives their residences the run around with problems and residential complaints. Please Don't Move In Here DO. NOT. LIVE. HERE. I moved in with my sister because her old roommate moved out (November 2018), and dear God do we both regret living here. When I moved in, the neighbor's washing machine broke and got water all in the walls and cabinets close to the laundry pantry. They replaced our washer and cleaned up the laundry pantry but neglected to put in new cabinets for THREE MONTHS. These cabinets grew mold and got mold on all of our pots and pans, we had to bleach them to be sure they were safe to us... read more
