The Worst This place is the worst for college kids...can't nobody answer your question...they have you sign a lead at one price then turn around a few days later and tell you - you have to sign another lease at a higher price. A lease is a binding contract once you sign it and pay your money it can't be changed (maybe they don't know the law in that office) DO NOT let your college kids stay at the District find somewhere else they are many/better places in Jacksonville were college kids can stay, believe me when I tell you D... read more
Trust the reviews. Don't live here Trust the reviews and do not live in this place. They overcharge for utilities and ignore all requests to discuss the amount. Oh and if your roommate moves out and they don't find someone to fill the apartment, you're responsible for all the utilities. I've lived alone in a bigger apartment before and paid less there than at the DOK. Gate always broken, living residents vulnerable. Leasing office cites policies that they can't provide you with. IT'S NOT WORTH IT ,TRUST ME As an UNF student, my experience of the two years at the Districts were horrible. Briefly, my last year consist of a constant broken dryer which was not replaced until I moved out . When the new management took over they did renovate the apartment. However, they were not considerate to the students even though it is a student housing. The renovation started during the last couple weeks of the semester which consist of finals. This place is a scam. I think the one good thing I can say about this place is that they are good at advertising. I am only 4 months into my lease and I already can't wait for it to be over with. I feel robbed. I was given a tour and when I signed and moved in I was immediately appalled. The furnishings are nothing like the pictures or model rooms. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! The worst experience I have ever had with an apartment complex! Do Not rent from them! They put up this whole front of the "deals" that they have but its all a lie just to get unsuspecting students to rent from them, they raise the rent every month and will not actually show you the utilities, the manager is the most cold hearted rude person I've ever met. Don't move here even if your desperate Worse place to live in. Having to get legal involved because some of the issues we are having with the lease. First moved in and had me with a girl completely drugged up and had all kinds of drugs out. Said they looked and couldn't find anything. Management is a joke. Never around to help, they have the people at the front taking care of stuff that needs management. Doesn't take care of the property. Always having pet waste everywhere. Absolute flea nest Absolute Flea nest! Same thing happened over and over again during my 2 years here. I told them to fix it. They gave me flea bombs. It didn't solve the problem. Fleas affected my health pretty badly. I told them to change my room. They wanted me to pay 200$ for it. This is going to be the 5th time I am going to talk to them about this matter. Their only solution is coming to the apartment for pest control which is obviously not the solution. I keep paying my rent but I have to stay at my friends place.
The Greatest place i ever lived I love living here At the District, you can make-more-friends. They also have academic-success space and a central-to-everything home base. They offer a private shuttle service for the convenience i need so i can concentrate on being a college student. The District is conveniently located near UNF & FSCJ South and offers individual leases on two, three, and four bedroom apartments with private bathrooms.
