Joe Morozin Sr. opened his very first eatery when he was sixteen years old. The road was paved with hard work, dedication and perseverance. It led from the GI Inn to White Way to the Torresdale Diner to The Dining Car. The Torresdale Diner was originally located at 8828 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia from 1960 to 1980. RecommendedSadly the Dining Car is NOT as good as days past. Service was great as usual, but food dropped from a 5 to about a 4. Overcooked and dry.

I came from Bensalem to support the ding car. the food was horrible and I was vomiting the entire time home! ended up buying my poor kid McDonald's.
Scrapple was fried to half of its existence 1/3 of the slice missing and it used to be much thicker hell the only reason for ordering scrapple out is that they deep fry it not deep kill it lol. The SOS was still very good but not enough for the extra side of toast under it potato latkes were skimpy and fried way too hard. All in all nit what I used to and the prices are very high for breakfast so I expect better! Great service though very attentive and good.
The Dining Car has great food. friendly attentive staff, and very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of food at a great price. Left full and satisfied.
Great staff and awesome food!
My family and I love this place! It’s one of our go to places. Also, we decided to take a chance and get a pumpkin pie from them and we never had their pumpkin pie. It completed our Thanksgiving feast. Service is excellent, fast & friendly as well!
