Putting your haircut nerves at ease! – Alyssa at The Cut took me as a walk-in and listened to what I needed to give me a cut I loved. I had been thinking about getting bangs for quite some time, and, instead of just lopping them off, Alyssa took baby steps in trimming the layer until it was a length I liked. Great service, skill, atmosphere, and price!
Great talent at a great price – I've been to bougie salons and cheap salons, and The Cut is the best of both worlds. I've seen Roberta twice and have been very happy both times. The price and location make this place a real find.
Donna is the best – great shop! everyone is so plesent Donna did a super job on my hear. she is very knowledgable on hair cutting and hair products. i purchased shampoo and conditioner from her. She made some excellent suggestions haw I can improve the looks of my hair! donna is the best
User review by schryl – This salon is definitely one that I will be returning to. The hair stylist Nikol was very professional and was able to correct the remnants of a bad haircut I had last month. She took her time cutting my hair and made every effort to communicate with me along the way so that I would end up with the haircut that I wanted. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for laid-back atmosphere and a skillful staff.
Diamond in the rough – Wow, what a great salon! You always hear about these great places in big cities that only the locals know about and try to keep to themselves, well this is surely one of them! Go to The Cut! – I have gone to the same hair dresser in my hometown for about 8 years now. I usually get my hair done when I go home but he was booked this time. My roots were out of control so I had to find somewhere new. The Cut was a great experience. I got a highlight and trim by Nikol and she was very careful to do exactly what I asked for. Had a great experience – After an expensive haircut ($80) at a day spa and not being totally happy with the results, I was looking for a good salon around West LA on City Search. Now that I have a hair stylist, I'm home. – I'm new to LA and Santa Monica. I have long, curly hair and am always nervous letting a new stylist cut my hair. I found The Cut Salon on a Google search and am sure glad I did. My stylist, Roberta, not only fixed a previous bad haircut but managed to give me one of the best cuts I've ever had. One of the worst – This is by far one of the worst salons i went to. I didnt see any of the wonderful qualities described on the other reviews here. I found the salon as well as the stylist very unprofessional. The stylist didnt seem to have any technique when cutting my hair nor was it clean at all. It was actually rather sloppy.
