I want to marry my stylist! – I went here after reading the rave reviews on citysearch. I managed to sneak in for a late appointment, which my stylist stayed after to do. The salon is great, and just going to get my hair cut was fun. I LOVE this place, and will return for my next trim. If you go, ask for Alyssa.
No warm & fuzzies here – No consultation! Which is scary! You enter the salon, get a limp handshake and as you are guided to the wash station. As you are leaning back the question is asked "How you want your hair?" And thats the extent of the consultation. My hair is very easy to cut and style so the cut came out alright but I don't think I'll return. It felt like Fantastic Sam's or Supercuts, but the price was not similar. I paid $50 for a haircut. Do yourself a favor – and do not go to this shop if you are at all discriminating. At best you will get average service and at worst you will end up with a nightmare. Take it from me, these women are not very experienced and not very good at what they do.
Great Place! – Basically, I am a convert. I went to someone in Manhattan Beach and she chopped my hair to death. I had awful bangs and uneven hair everywhere!! I was a mess...but after Christina worked her magic, I looked like a human being again! Great place- Christina took the extra effort to fix my mangled hair...she's awesome!!
not so great – overall this is not the greatest salon. they do not deserve a 9.7 rating. my haircut was not at all what i asked for and i even brought a picture. the girl didn't finish the job, which was very botched anyway.
The Best of the Best! – I have NEVER had a regular stylist or even a regular salon. In the past I couldn't find anywhere that I liked enough that I would ever go out of my way to go back to again. I LOVE THE CUT! BERTA is awesome and I have reccommended everyone I know to her! She will actually listen to what you want instead of going scissor-crazy and doing what she wants instead. Green be gone! – I have never done any colors on my hair and decided to let my friend use a home high lighting kit. Needless to say my hair was ruined and it turned green. I found Christina at The Cut via internet, and i couldnt be more happy! She was so patient in explaining the effects and process that needed to be done to fix and improve my hair. awesome – I've gone to the Cut now for at least five times and each time, Summer knew exactly what I wanted for a cut. I have long HEAVY hair which is quite difficult to style (let's not start on actual cut and blow-drying time). And yet each time, she knew how to make it look great for me! Ask for Summer.
mediocre service and cut – cut was average and I had to actually guide my stylest on where to cut. The stylest was cold and seemed to rush through the appt.. I don't think I'll be back.
