Asian Hair – After reading all reviews on all the salons near my area i decided to go with The Cut Salon. I have long, heavy, super straight asian hair and i wanted to get it reshaped and styled so that it has more volume and texture. I called and they booked me an appointment the same afternoon with Kyung and she did a fantastic job. She knew exactly how i felt and knew what i wanted. Wrong Cut Both Times I Went – I've gone twice now to The Cut, and both times brought in a picture of what I wanted. Both times I've not gotten the haircut that I've wanted. Unfortunately, I won't be going back.
Alyssa's "magical" color correction – After reading a favorable CitySearch review of Alyssa's color correction abilities, I came in on a lark after an impulsive (read: regrettably ignorant) attempt at dying my virgin dark brown strands to a "punk-y" platinum shade on my own (huge mistake, needless to say); and Alyssa somehow managed to salvage not only the integrity of my hair, but also make it look like a natural blonde color. Finally! – I have been going to my stylist back home ever since i can remember. I tried one other highly rated salon in the area, only to be dissapointed. Im really not used to having to explain my needs, i dont know the hair lingo. Thank God i found Christina. She was able to match my color perfectly and didnt chop all of my hair off. Horray for Sarah!!! – I have gone from platinum blonde to brown. Once my hair started to become lighter, I knew it was time to head in for an appointment. The Cut Salon came recommended to me from one of my friends. Sarah gave me an amazing hair cut along with treating my hair color amazing. I am so happy with my hair and Love The Cut Salon!
Best hair cut ever!!!! – I tried Roberta and she gave me good cut. I like the coffee shop next door and the pizza place is good to.
Great cut, great people! – Several of my friends had suggested I go to the Cut for my next haircut, but it was always hard to leave my old stylist. Well, finally, I took a shot and went in for my cut. I was referred to Roberta, whom all my friends seem to love. And after being in there for five minutes I knew why they loved her. Not only was Roberta great, but the cut she gave me was the best I'd had in years. Top that off with the super fun atmosphere and cool group of people there, and I've definitely found my new salon.
Saved my Hair! – I had gone here out of desperation after 2 bad hair colorings (one from my mom and one from another salon!) Alyssa was so great in getting my hair back to it's normal color. She is very knowledgable about hair correction and coloring and took her time to get it right. The atmosphere is laid back and the staff is friendly. Save your money from those other high priced salons and give this a try! You will not be disappointed.
it's ok. – I went to this salon to get a trim on a haircut I already had. I went because of the high reviews here. The atmosphere was great, and the person who cut my hair was very nice. However, I was not satisfied with my haircut. I wanted the hair to be short in the back and long in the front ("A" line). The back looked good, but the sides were uneven (I checked it out at home).
