About this business
History of our building dates back to 1928. It started out as a feed and storage depot in the 20's. Supplies came by boat and rail. After that business, the building has been used as a Scotty's, Motorcycle repair shop, & Flea Market. The building was then abandoned for quite a few years. Then in 1998, it was rebuilt inside out and became a restaurant called Sunset Steakhouse. The top layer of roof was blown off in 2001 and the building and restaurant was sold. June 4, 2001 The Crazy Gator was opened by Beth and Steve Robin.

They obviously do not care about their customers! Terrible service long wait and salad served with no dressing and when asked for a dressing - our choice was not available. Asked to talk to a manager - none on duty on a Friday night. Will NEVER go back! Thumbs down!
Great local place. Good food and excellent wait staff. Have not had a bad meal there yet.
Awesome atmosphere, loved it, amazing servers, kelly, jennifer and Megan, will definitely come back.
Food is good fight night atmosphere is good but service can get a little slow when the restaurant gets busy, but that cant be held against the staff. All in all no complaints. I will be a regular.
I was disappointed by my experience at Crazy Gator. It took over 20 minutes for a server to come to the table to get drink orders. Many of the tables were dirty and not bussed. Overall, the restaurant was dirty and run down. The food took over an hour to come out, and it was mediocre at best. Very disappointing experience. I likely will not be returning to this restaurant.
Food preparers didn't wear gloves when preparing food! Will not eat here again!
Worst ever. Health department should shut it down. Only thing good is bar crew. I questioned manager about food prep and no gloves, he shut the pass through door and denied it.
Kitchen is always backed and disorganized. Wait on food is too long. Quality of food not as good as it use to be.. Staff is ok Brian is the shining light for us regulars. Shape up or lose your regulars..
