Two concerns are product quality and customer service. Within three months my cover was showing signs of deep cracks and tears. This material may be suitable for warm climates but it’s not suitable climates below freezing. I purchased the most expensive cover for cold climates. They advertise a white glove no hassle warranty experience. Mine was different. Weeks pass by between email responses. They make the true claim that the covers are made in North America, but they should be more specific to state they are made in Mexi... read more
Don't believe the score on Amazon! These guys are the worst. We bought a cover from them. We even paid extra to get the heavy duty version. It failed in less than a year! The interior plastic sheeting wrapping the styrofoam was so degraded, that little bits started appearing in the tub water. The foam is now so waterlogged, the cover is so heavy, we can hardly lift it. We live on the central coast of California, so the weather isn't that extreme. We kept the chemicals in balance, and used the tub often enough (genera... read more
DO NOT BY THIS PRODUCT! I bought a cover a little over a year ago and recently noticed one of the corners seemed raised slightly off of the hot tub. On further inspection the foam on that corner was no longer flat. When looking at all of the other corners I noticed similar warping and raising from the hot tub. Because this product has a 7-year warranty I contacted the company and was told that the cover had melted and the foam would need to be replaced. This would cost $110 one side of the foam and $149 to ship it. When I as... read more
Literally the WORST company I have ever dealt with. Save yourself a huge headache and your money and use any other company. Read the BBB complaints - they all make sense now. Terrible customer service, sub par product and no follow up person will ever get back to you no matter how many times you email. Horrible horrible company!
This company has terrible turnaround times and customer service. I would avoid them at all cost. I would love to review the product however I never received it. Please read reviews from BBB and Yelp before ever purchasing from this sorry excuse of company.
Avoid this company. They will not warranty their product. Additionally there are ALWAYS people working on the sales end but you will hardly ever be able to speak to some on the service end. I ordered a cover and it arrived damaged and now they want me to pay about 50% of the original cost to fix the damaged product. Also the quality of the finished product is very poor. It is made of thin cheap material that feels like it with tear with the slightest effort. Save yourself the time, aggravation, and money and go to a brand na... read more
this company gets an F with the BBB and it is not a BBB approved business. I have no idea how they get any higher than an F. Worst company to deal with. The supervisor (Amanda) accepts forged signatures on delivery. They do not stand behind their product.
Never buy from this company....Amanda claims I signed for my damaged cover. This is the policy: If you are home at the time of delivery, goods must be inspected for any damages. Any damage or suspected damages (ie: damage to the box or packaging) must be noted on the waybill when signing for delivery OR the product is to be refused. Once noted on the waybill, any damages must be reported to The Cover Guy within 48 hours. Signing the waybill without noting the damage is accepting the product has arrived in good conditio... read more
Before purchasing I reached out to the company and asked how long for a cover because of the pandemic. They replied 3-4 weeks. I ordered my new cover April 13th, 2020. I was taken back that the next day I got a promotional email for 10% off my next purchase, maybe something you should offer before someone checks out. I then got an email May 3rd saying your cover went into production today. Thought that was unusual as we were already close to 3 weeks since order date. They said your delivery time of 3-4 weeks doesn't take int... read more
