We opened The Classic at Roanoke's doors with a desire to serve a world-class menu in a casual, relaxed setting, where we could build a community around food. Our go to special occasions spot. We’ve been going there for 10 years. If I was rich I would eat there 3 times a week.
I worked as a server when it first opened in the early 90's....great place to work...i was fortunate to serve the critic from the Dallas paper and the restaurant got a high rating....
Always unique and imaginative cuisine!
We had an amazing lunch here. Very good food tasting fresh and delicious. Being served here was wonderful. The waitress really watched over us. The next course wasn't served till we were done with the present course. Our drinks were always filled. Really great service without being intrusive. There are beautiful paintings and artwork on the walls and shelves. Was a wonderful dining experience. Very romantic with classical music and cloth table covering and napkins. We felt very well taken care of.
We had a lovely time at Classic Cafe! We had a gift certificate that they gave to the silent auction to support Our Daily Bread. We won it and enjoyed a tasty evening of Tomato Basil Soup, duck, crab cakes, fish and pasta. All of it was just wonderful. We appreciate the Classic Cafe for being supportive of Our Daily Bread and for delivering a fantastic meal!
Excellent in every way! Service was excellent, staff very friendly, and the food was wonderful!
