We opened The Classic at Roanoke's doors with a desire to serve a world-class menu in a casual, relaxed setting, where we could build a community around food. Our fare has never been limited by continent or region, and Chef Charles Youts' weekly features are as likely to hail from the Pacific Rim as they are from his childhood home in West Texas. Chef Charles finds garden-to-table inspiration in the Chef's Pantry garden that we've maintained on The Classic grounds since 2009, and his features regularly highlight the seasonal... read more

Food was great and so very friendly.
Fine dining atmosphere with Staff that are on point. We've never been taken care of as well as we were there. We will definitely be going back. I recommend the house-smoked salmon, the roasted garlic and goat cheese dip.
Loved everything here at the Classic! Cant believe I had never been. Will definitely be going back often. Thanks Curtis for the wonderful service, conversation and delicious food!
Outstanding food and exceptional service! The owner stopped by our table several times to check on us. We had a great experience, and will definitely be back. Great for lunch, dinner and special occasions. They offer fun classes as well.

New Year’s Eve dinner - the worse one what our fam of 4 experienced. Payed over $300 with no alcohol, couldn’t even chew steak, desert had no ingredients what were noted in description and finally unwashed tea cup with dry coffee in it and lukewarm water to “brew” the tea. Online pictures are mouthwatering, reality- an old smelly house with lazy stuff. Big disappointment for me! Should be embarrassing for the chef with such a name and claimed level.
What an amazing fine dining experience! From the delicious cocktails through the appetizer (baked brie with pistachios and cranberries) and main course (tenderloin cooked so perfectly to a true medium rare) to the sumptuous lemon and blueberry bread pudding for dessert (with coffee, of course), my sister and I didn't want to leave! — with Jennifer Keller.
