They charged me twice for the same order, two different amounts. The explanation from the agent I spoke wth was, the tax was adjusted between the time I ordered and the time the order shipped. In this case they hold the first charge for 5 days. So really I paid double for the order until they decide to release one of the charges. This is a very loose and irresponsible practice. Horrible experience thus far. I didn’t receive a shipping email notification so I was not looking for my package. Tracking number shows it was Delivered this past Monday. Called customer for help. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! Rep NOR Supervisor listened for understanding. When I asked them to slow down becaus I could NOT understand them, THEY acted annoyed! HORRIBLE. I fell in love with this store last year 2017 up until during the christmas holiday season I made 3 orders over $150 with only one being fulfilled.. only to be told my a store manager that he doesnt have time to be my personal shopper! I think it is deceiving and sneaky to encourage customers to spend hundreds of dollars in order to collect points/rewards ($10 coupons) that they can use at another date... the date just after they double the price of ALL their merchandise. I have never before seen a graphic t-shirt for a toddler be more than $5-7 but today I go to spend my earned bucks and there isn't a shirt less than $10 many of them as much as $20. These are not normal Children's Place prices so there is only one explanation... marketing foolery... lying... read more

I made an in-store purchase using a debit card. I decided to return the items, and since I do not live near any stores, I asked my mother-in-law to return them for me. When she took back my items (with a receipt and within the return window) the store clerk refused to issue a refund to my debit card because she did not have my card with her. The clerk also refused to issue a cash refund (even after speaking with me on the phone). She would only refund the balance to a gift card. I couldn't be more disappointed in this company. I promise I will NEVER shop here again. MY case number was Case#: *******. It took almost 6 weeks to get my refund. I would call weekly to follow up on why my refund has not been returned and was told they have escalated my issue with finance and they are looking into it. They will need 3-5 days to process.EVERY SINGLE week. I would like to know why this took so long. No real apologies were given or reason. That is crazy. I tried to exchange my son's pants to a different style (boy can't rock skinny jeans) with out a receipt. Long story short I bought the pants for at least $8 so I expected an even exchange since the store shelfs still have those same pants full price on display. well the cashier wanted to credit me $3 for them! So I'd be loosing $5 per unused pants and she wanted me to pay the difference for the correct size! Talk about loosing money.

Why is this company still open? They are a disgrace. They do nothing to cater to their customers. Receipt, or no receipt, every piece of clothing has their name on it, so they know that it is their product. Do the right thing, if not, then you will lose a ton of shoppers. I am never shopping at your stores again.
