My 10 yr old son was admitted and we were so scared we didnt know what was wrong but the wonderful doctors jumped right in found the problem and assured us he was in great hands and he was going to be ok..sure enough two nights pass and we got to go home with my son feeling 100% better..the nurses and doctors were all great and always checked on my son and made him feel better.. they also said theyd be calling to check on him to make sure things were still going in the right direction. My child had a procedure done and was discharged way too early, requiring us to spend thousands in an emergency room bill and have her admitted. I am understanding of the admission cost, as that is the risk of the procedure, but she should've been watched longer. I expressed concerns and they still sent us home...only to come back through the emergency room three hours later.
We've been to BCH twice with my youngest son to try to get a diagnosis for him. Although they still couldn't give us any answers on a diagnosis other than he had a gene mutation that they're not familair with, they we're great and still wants to do follow ups with us. He has been placed in their research program. Very prompt on answering emails and does a great job explaining everything to you as well!

Every question we had was answered. All the tests were explained very well. The most important thing was that my son was treated extremely well. I'd come back in a heartbeat, if needed.
Yesterday was our 2 ond visit. Our first was July of 2015 when after a couple of stomach aches and an increase in thirst we brought our son to our our local pedi with the concern he may have T1 diabetes( we knew the signs because 2 of our best friends had kids recently diagnosed) we were right and with in minutes he was brought by ambulance to Children's . My son has been here since Tuesday night, we have had nothing but the sweetest nurses, and a great team of doctors working to help my son around the clock. I am inspired by all you do here. I would not want to be anywhere else but here. Greatest hospital for children and their families

Wonderful people! Friendly, prompt and so easy to communicate. They are ready to help. I can't say enough about how happy we are with Children's right now. My son's words "I'm so happy that somebody can help. I'm so happy that they can fix my legs." We were given a gift.
