Incredible place with caring and highly skilled healthcare, clean surroundings and dedicated to offering a friendly experience to all the precious kiddos. One kindly suggestion-valet parking for parent/guardian at NO CHARGE at least the day of surgery. (Parent must be present throughout child's stay. Charging each day for parking is almost insulting....
In our experience, no one at Children's Hospital knows anything about Lyme disease or co-infections. We live in a Lyme endemic area and two of my children have had various Lyme symptoms, one in 2009 and one in 2014, but the doctors there wouldn't even entertain the possibility that their severe fatigue, headaches, or strange thyroid issues could have been undiagnosed Lyme disease. Dr. Micheli gave me the chance to be happy again. If he didn't operate I would have never been able to play basketball, hockey, or soccer again. (maybe rugby because he always tries to convince me to sign up) sports are my everything, at least 3-4 hrs. per day for sports. Sports makes me happy. The saved my son's life at 2 weeks old. He was born with a Congenital heart defect and the Cardiac team was amazing. We can't thank everyone that helped Zachary enough. They do amazing things here.
My daughter wouldn't be here today without Boston Children's hospital. I can't say enough good things!
