They were unable to help my baby with lowering his oxygen from a .4 they had him up to .6 and someone that is part of the staff there told me that the nurses aren’t equipped to handle my son. He only has a nasal cannula he takes all feeds by mouth. Also they told me that if the o2 is to go up they will just keep giving him more oxygen and too much oxygen for babies are harmful. A place for your baby to grow and be cared for in a more family friendly atmosphere; where you and your immediate family can stay to not only be by your babies side with 24 hour access but also to help aid in your child's care so that your not missing any portion of their growth and development.
Helped our family be a family while our premature baby was in the nicu. I strongly recommend this place when you have other child and need a place to stay!!! We loved every time we were there and loved the staff!!
it's a great transition area. We learned how to take care of our physically challenged granddaughter there. much nicer than just being sent home clueless. everyone is so helpful.
awesome place for rehab.
I personally do not have experience of staying here but one thing I can say is I do housekeeping and the staff,doctors, and nurses do a fantastic job to make everyone comfortable, and well taken care of. it's amazing to see the progress these children make from recovery. I overall recommend the children's home to anyone that may need to be placed here.
I feel like my experience had both its ups and downs. We had phenomenal nurses one shift the next shift the nurses managed to make you feel like you were a terrible parent and that it was your fault that you were there. If I would give any advice it would be to cherish the nurses who make you feel welcome and take breathes with others.
