Love having dinner on the porch watching the horse draw carriage! Then sit in the rocking chair for a night cap!

It’s a beautiful place!! I live across the street and when they open, I love to sit on the beautiful front porch and enjoy a glass of wine from The King Eddie’s Bar and enjoy the lovely ocean breeze!!

My family has been going to the Chalfonte for generations, so it has great sentimental value for all of us. Reading or having conversations while rocking on the porch, having meals in the dining room, meeting some of the coolest people there... oh! Can't forget watching the horse-drawn carriages taking people on tours around Cape May that come by this historic hotel. so many wonderful memories!

It was wonderful. Great breakfast; the room was simple but appropriately furnished and had a lovely tiled large bath
