I was overbilled and my multiole herniated disks diagnosis was treated as a papercut. John Grecko PA--C lied to me about forwarding my claim to a different doctor not affiliated with this practice. Dr. Christopher Berman treated me like I was a leper based on my insurance but pushed illegal steroids with little hope of recovery. Further to have him absolved of all responsibilities, he puts the costs in the patient's hands without accountability. MMI/Centers for Advanced Orthopedics is great. Dr. Steinberg did my surgery yesterday and his PA Doug Spingola is so nice and handled all of my initial appointments and pre-OP care. Best of all, I wasnt waiting around in their office forever like most doctors, I think the longest wait I had was 5-10 min. Xrays were in the same building and the MRI was just a week later at a different office on Thomas Johnson. 10/10 (Also Steinberg bonded with my mom about going to Penn State while they were waiting for the anesthesia to wear... read more
Clerks at window don’t understand insurance billing. Instead of telling you they don’t understand it, they’ll just tell you “you’re good” after confirming payments were made.. only to double bill you at a much later date. Would not recommend for those living paycheck to paycheck. Shameful, really. Supervisors should advise the clerks to admit they’re unsure how billing works, so patients don’t end up with overdrafts.
