its religious doctrines and mode of education
My son is very happy with this university. Campus is beautiful and plenty of housing for all its students. The Basilica of Immaculate Conception is part of the campus. Very strong Catholic identity. Also, this is the only university in DC that has a Metro stop. My son takes Metro from airport to school and Vice versa. And most importantly, Washington DC is in its backyard for an extended learning experience. Free museums, White House, Capitol and Federal agencies within its reach.
