Charming, beautiful hotel. No complaints here! I didn't pay, so i have no idea of the cost. Great attention to design details like tiling on the bathroom floor. Update. Unfortunately, there's a little glitch, to make it less than perfect: on weekend nights, there are UNC parties at the hotel, followed by weddings come summer. I found it rather unpleasant to return to a crowded, noisy hotel with smells of beer on the youngsters. Dude! It was the Carolina Inn...the pinnacle of UNC social life. When I was a student there in the 70's, I never thought I'd be a patron there. Since then I've stayed there on business and eaten there several times. The food was first rate and the service right on! Perfect place for a pre-game meal.
