My friend and I decided to take our daughters here starting at their 1st birthday (now up to 2nd) for annual tea to celebrate. The staff is wonderful and accommodating--and unbelievably patient--with our babies and now toddlers. The tea is such a lovely traditional and occasion in the best setting in Denver. I love everything about the Brown Palace, from the spa, to the tea, to the restaurants and hotel rooms. Even the valet is like a step back in time. I am so happy to be able to share this with my daughter.
I have Brunched at the Brown Palace twice and spent an amazing Saturday afternoon in the Spa, but I have yet to stay in the hotel proper, something I hope to change soon. 5 star does not do the Brown Palace justice! My friends and I booked spa treatments for Saturday, and all of us were late in varying degrees. Maddie at the Spa desk was truly amazing, she stayed in contact with me from the initial booking to the day of. Fantastic food! Our waiter Don was outstanding. All three of us were very happy with our experience.
Ellyngton's brunch is so special. It's an old age tradition for my family and will always have a special place in my heart. Especially the delicious spread combined with the beautiful sounds of Danny and the band's live music!
