Very polite and caring people, I appreciate the help they had given me so much
As a former Night Shift Shelter Supervisor, Sexual Assault Survivor Support Group facilitator and Rape Accompaniment Advocate at the Bridge in the 80s, it was such a personal reward to be able to help those who needed a hand up. I had some very sad times and some very good times there and still miss it. I moved away to the Texas Hill Country in 1990 and often wonder if Linda Madeksho is still there. They help out so many people in need. They gave me shelter when my abusive boyfriend beat and tried to kill me. They also gave me and my kids food and clothes when we needed it. We also recieved food multiple times from their food pantry. I cant thank them enough.
I love and respect this wonderful organization. I have volunteered here for over 25 years. They help so many people, and the staff is so helpful and caring. They have a special gift.
I’ll be forever thankful for the care & support they extended to my daughter Cristy Lawless Matthews that passed away In Jan. 2007. They are family there and she loved her sisters. RIP Cristy never forgotten �
