My mom and her kids came here many years ago when i was a child. Now my wife resides here. I heard from friend and family of hers that she said I hit her... unfortunately i never knew of any Acts of violence that took place I know we did have some loud fights and coos would get called but never anything like what im hearing about now. The Bridge really changed my life, helped me regain my sanity. Now that I am finally off on my own again, it feels so weird to not have my bridge family around through the moments I find it hardest to keep going. So looking forward to being able to attend groups again after this pandemic 😭

Working with many Attorney’s in Pasadena n Clear Lake in the 80s the Bridge gave us guidance on Domestic Violence,Sexual Assault and Child Abuse. Many experts have their roots from the Bridge.

I was at the Bridge at one point in my life. It does not matter where you are as long as you are in a safe haven other that a domestic abuse environment.

I was there in 2012. I asked the head staff if this was a Christian organization and she quickly lwt me know not everyone who works there is a Christian. From then on, I was treated like a criminal. HAWC is the best. Houston Area Women's Center is the best. Now that staff care. They give us victims so much help. Please don't donate to the bridge over troubled waters. They are horrible.
