Do Yourself A Favor - Move On Regretfully, I lived at The Brandt previously Shadows of Cottonwood for over 2 years until 11/2018. During my time it became clear to me this place was just as much a shady business, striving by any means to maximize profit from you, as it was an apartment home. Highly Recommend I have been living at the Brandt for about a year now and I couldn't be happier about the changes they have been making! The new updates on the apartments are fantastic, the grounds are very well maintained and clean, and the staff is always friendly! Hali the new property manager has been doing a great job with all the new resident events and overall upkeep of the property. I am happy to call The Brandt my home and plan on renewing once my lease is up!

Couldn’t be happier My experience so far has been wonderful I just moved in this month and couldn’t be happier. The staff was very helpful especially Vanessa L. When she showed us around she was very knowledgeable about everything about the property. If you’re looking for a Apartment in the Irving area u have to check these guys out.

Poor manaagement Have had nothing but issues since moving here a few months ago.. the apartment I live in has nothing but issues and management never responses yet they keep promoting them to coporate. There’s cockroaches in the apartments just gross. It took them a week to put my bathroom door back on after it fell off, then still have yet to fix the other issues in my place. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. very very unprofessional leasing staff and it’s just overpriced for the quality.
Steer clear of THE BRANDT My partner and I lived here for 2 years after moving to the Dallas area from Oklahoma. The experience from move-in until we moved out was not the best to say the least. On our move-in day ... after driving 3 1/2 hours from Oklahoma we arrive to find out that the “upgraded” unit were supposed to have was not complete and ready. Instead we were put in a “non updated” unit and even though we were told when we looked at the apartments the first time that the updated units were in fact higher in price we... read more
The water woes does not stop! and more problems We have been living here for a year and the water shut down never stopped, its too frequent...and its not fixed for a year! The gym just finished renovating, its great however not 24hours. So we have to stop at 6pm on weekdays and even earlier on weekends. Their trash pick up valet(mandatory) is expensive, I would rather walk till the garbage bin than pay $35 for a sunday to thursday service of 1 bag trash each day. Lazy office staff While it has always taken me multiple contacts for the office to take care of anything I have asked about, it has gotten significantly worse since CAF Management took over in December of 2017. This complex is on their third or fourth manager since CAF took over. Their communication is poor and they always have an excuse about why they haven't done their job. I do not recommend moving here.
