It's hard to say whether you are in NYC or LA once you enter this spot reminiscent of the Big Apple with its facade made from subway tiles. Despite its NYC vibe, there is a unmistakable French bistro-style ambiance albeit you are in the heart of Hollywood. The menu consists of appetizers like Bowery Sliders with chicken or beef, free-range chicken wings and macaroni au gratin while the salads, sandwiches and entrees round out your dinner. The Roasted Pork Belly and Pan Seared Salmon are two entrees that come highly recommend... read more

new york at last – for years i've been waiting for a new york style place to eat before or after the movies, at last, the bowery has the best burgers in town, fresh fried onion rings and sweet potatoe fries and other homemade goodies. the service is friendly, the place is cool and both the bar and tables feel like home for this homsick newyorker...welcome, also it's a great spot to come to by yourself, warm and welcomming, again like the new york i remember and it's a great location also, what more does anyone want
Service was slow and rude, food was cold – It took years and years for the food and drinks to come, and when they did, they were wrong. And they charged us for the wrong things. And then got mad when we didn't want to pay for things we didn't order or eat. Food was okay, but it probably would have tasted better if it weren't cold. Bowery? More like booooooooo-wery.
User review by emking1316 – I wanted a change of pace and read a recent review and decided to stop in. The place is small, but nicely appointed. They really did a great job with the small space. I enjoyed a Chimay beer and a glass of Argentinan red wine. I was really excited about the food. We ordered the burger and mac n cheese as well as a greens and gruyere salad. The salad was extra salty, the burger was mini, like a slider (but at a burger price), we had to order fries separately and the mac n cheese was not cheesey and... read more
great new place – I really liked this place! The service was great and the waiter was very friendly. The food was really good and I loved the casual atmosphere. It's small though so it's not a great place for a big group.
its all good – things are looking up. good people, good vibe, great burger
Excited about new spot in my hood! – This place is pretty, but who in their right mind would be enthused about paying $5.00 for PABST - IN A CAN??? I would have drinks at this place if the PBR was $2.00 and under, like in real NYC bars.
Very Cool. – What a cool new spot. Went for lunch with friends, had the burger and we all split some fries and onion rings. Tasty. Everyone was really nice. Seems like it would be a fun place to sit at the bar and hang for drinks. Make sure you save room for the cheesecake - its homemade and AWESOME!
Finally a cool neighborhood bar in LA! – I had a great time here! It is a very chill place with great food, excellent music and very friendly staff. As the 'guvnor' would say himself, 'I'll be back'!!
Perfect! – My friends and I really enjoy The Bowery. Everyone is so friendly. The food is so good, and the bartenders make the best drinks. Glad to see a great new place in the neighborhood.
