About this business
Founded in 1961, the Bitter End is New York's oldest rock club. There is no food served here, so you do not have to worry about the sounds of tinkling glasses and quaking crockery distracting the likes of Stevie Wonder, Neil Diamond and Bob Dylan. Over the years, a number of big name comedians have performed here as well, including Woody Allen, George Carlin and Joan Rivers. A brick wall forms the backdrop for all these acts, including many you may not have heard about.

Great live music, always! Mostly rock, but they do have other genres too every now and then. A must visit for a live music lover.

Blondie, The Ramones, Lady Gaga, Talking Heads and many many many more have played here. Truly one of the most iconic clubs in NYC.
Love it! Last night we were lucky enough to catch 3 bands and there were different members of the same family in each band! Sisters and cousins. They were all great and all different. What a blast! Also, kudos to a very friendly staff and hilarious guy at the front door taking money...I was told there was a cover...I think he worked there.
