Very disappointing.This was our first time going to The Bayou. We were celebrating my birthday. The service was good but we were not happy with a few things. We ordered the pierogie appetizer and the teaspoon (if that) of crab meat that came with it seemed to be frozen. It was very cold and had a crunch to it. I ordered the fried chicken for my entree. Used to love going to this place but the last few times have been lackluster. The service has been slow and the food has decreased in quality.

RecommendedOH MY GOD the fried chicken is amazing! Just ordered the spicy chicken and sweet potato and it was so amazing. I was craving the bayou for years and since I live a bit away hadn’t had the chance to come. The food was just as amazing this time as it was before.
Recommendedthe food is fabulous !!! portions are good and the flavors are wonderful. Apps included fried cauliflower (highly recommended) hush puppies and cornbread. Meals were fried chicken and Jambalaya side orders of brussel sprouts and broccoli au gratin. all highly recommended. pleanty of left overs. and don't forget the Beignets !!!!! over all an EXCELLENT place
