RecommendedWow if only I took a picture of that fried chicken dinner special. Everything was so good and there was a lot of food! Definitely enough to feed at least 4 people! Highly recommend for take out and everything is curbside only. They definitely know what they’re doing at The Bayou!
When I first moved here several years ago, I tried the Bayou and (forgive my southern snobbishness) was not really impressed. However, we did the Fried Chicken special last night for takeout, and I was knocked out! The chicken was good, but the mac and cheese was completely off the chains! And the cornbread was even better! I'm a Texas native, and you guys helped me feel right at home. Thank you! (but please no more baseball-sized hush puppies, if that's still a thing)

The Bayou is one of my wife and my favorite restaurants for their delicious food as well as the friendly and comfortable ambiance. We did take-out for the first time last night. Despite the difficult circumstances, the food was great (as always) and the staff went above and beyond to bring the same service and experience we are accustomed to experiencing when we dine-in. So thrilled to have found a taste of New Orleans in my new Lehigh Valley home. It's like you guys know exactly what I want every time I go! I'm a sucker for the catfish po'boy, but darn it if the fried chicken platter isn't one of the most delicious recipes I've ever tried.
Always the best! even the take out is amazing! I can't wait until the end of this flu to sit and enjoy a full meal! it will consist of the Fried Oysters!

Always delicious! The curbside special for fried chicken was amazing. It was a generous amount of food for the price- 10 pieces of chicken, sweet potatoes, cornbread, Mac n cheese, and beignets. It was all yummy and we have enough leftovers for a second meal for the 4 of us. Also super impressed with how smoothly curbside pickup ran. We ordered this morning and our food was ready and brought to our car within a minute or two of pulling up. Thanks for the great meal during all this.
