The bayou is exactly what the Lehigh valley needed! My dinner was awesome! The curried sweet potato soup was out of this world!
The Bayou was amazing! The executive Chef, Tyler, came to our table to tell us about the food and specials. They are also now partnered with Rodale Farm!! So you know the specials are all organic and local. Tyler had so much passion when he was talking about the food... It made my husband and I so excited. We went at 4pm which is way early for us (we're only in our 30s) but it was best time because we beat the crowd, the chef had time to talk to us, and it was happy hour. We will be back many times... So much I want to try! ... read more
Great atmosphere, small, but very rustic and well decorated. Food was authentic.... collard greens and blackened catfish was Devine. One small complaint a bit noisy! But hey maybe I'm getting old?? Steve Broskey Trio Band was a great added feature!
Everything was so, so good! Can't say enough about the food and drinks. I hope to soon return to enjoy the patio. Christian, Mo, and Tyler have done a great job! See you soon.
Great product, great atmosphere. Super friendly bartender Annie, but it was far too busy for her to pay her customers the attention that is needed. I would recommend a second bartender or at least a bar back. We will definitely be back! Food is delish!
We went for my husband's birthday dinner as first timers and the food and atmosphere were amazing!! Only complaint. ..got so full we couldn't try more! Highly recommend this place to anyone!!
The atmosphere was great on the evening I visited. The drinks were well put together and delicious. Only problem I came across was food. I ordered a salad and after 2 hours of waiting, I figured it wasn't coming. The staff was very nice. Bartenders were social but it was obvious they favored certain patrons compared to the entire bar. I really enjoyed the time I was there. Basketball was on the T.V., people were friendly. Another visit will be coming in the near future.
This is one of a few "must stop" restaurants that I like outside of NYC!
These fine folks are food and drink wizards. WIZARDS, I tell you. Seriously, some of the best I've ever had.
