Truly the worst place I’ve EVER EVER lived. We have been plagued by the noisiest downstairs neighbors. Constantly waking my baby. YELLING, SCREAMING, door banging. The management have done NOTHING and are a complete joke. They have said the odd sorry here and there which is lovely. All they care about is making sure the exorbitant rent is paid on time. I have lived here for five years and loved it up until nine months ago. The landscaping has gone downhill, 80 % of the grass is dead and when it rains heavy because there’s no covering, the soil runs onto the road. We’ve had the same weeds for seven weeks, the landscapers only mow and blow. I wish I could post pictures on this review. Overgrown shrubs that haven’t been pruned in six months. RecommendedThis is my favorite apartment I’ve had in Charleston (after five) for its location, quiet, and the reliability of the staff. Ashley and Lindsey are responsive and so professional. They are the most helpful and really good at what they do running the community here at Shade Tree. The handymen are awesome and always on top of things. They go well out of their way to make the community clean, well structured, and kept up. I love living here!
Beware, from an infestation of roaches, to crime, shootings, drug use, and drug distribution this place is all around bad. The only thing worse than that is the property management. Lyndsey cares more about her social stature than your wellbeing. The issues at this location aren't from bad neighborhoods, but poor management. There Ford Expedition has been broken down in front of my building (6) since November 2018 with expired tags and a flat tire. It’s an eyesore , it’s leaking some type of fluid all over the road and taking up valuable parking space. If you own it please have the decency of getting it towed.
A good friend of mine and neighbor is being forced to accept 12,000 less than she deserves to replace replaceable items that the employee of Shade Tree threw away is not good business.
After hearing about how a tenants belongings were destroyed by staff negligence and only a one time offer of a pittance was made I think I shall steer clear of relocating to this appt complex. Own your mistakes it’s the sign of a good business.
